Livingston Council on Aging has been providing services and aid to the senior citizens of Livingston Parish since 1973.

In that time, we have grown to five meal sites throughout the parish to better serve the growing population.

Some of the services that are provided are transportation, congregate meals, delivered meals, chore service, in-home respite, nutritional education, wellness programs, material aid, and legal services through Southeastern Louisiana legal services.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE

Money is available for those who have financial need. Please call orcome by 949 Government Dr., Denham Springs to apply. This is a very short, simple process and is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.

Please bring the following information with you to our office:

• Proof of income

• Monthly bills (current bill for each monthly service)

Each month we have

• 10 Entergy grants for assistance
•   5 DEMCO grants for assistance
